Lithuanian Direct Selling Association is a national voluntary not-profit trade association of the leading firms that manufacture and distribute goods and services sold directly to consumers. Association was founded in autumn 2002.
- Promote the growth of direct selling and its recognition as an important method of distribution of goods and services to consumers in Lithuania.
- Improve the image of direct selling and support direct selling as a legitimate way of individual business and additional income opportunities.
- Promote fair competition and consumer rights protection and to ensure a favorable commercial and legal environment for the direct selling business.
- Make membership a sign of quality for the market participants and customers that indicate the reliability of the member company and the quality of its products and services.
Members of the Association, i.e. companies working in the direct selling sector, and related direct sellers promote the highest standards of direct selling.
Members of the Association and their direct sellers are required to follow the Codes of Ethics of the Lithuanian Direct Selling Association. The Codes of Ethics set out the main principles in accordance to which the Direct Sellers and Direct Companies must act and behave in relation to each other and to a customer. Codes of Ethics prepared in accordance with the Codes of Seldia – the European Direct Selling Association and of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations.
