Direct selling is constantly evolving and growing in the European retail economy. Undoubtedly, there have been a number of changes in the activities of both direct selling companies and their salespeople over the past few years. Therefore, in order to understand today’s direct selling, the European Direct Selling Association-Seldia, together with the independent market research agency Ipsos, is starting a survey of direct sellers in twelve European countries, including Lithuania.

Direct selling is a sales channel that, unfortunately, is often not yet sufficiently understood by the public, its social and economic benefits are not known enough, and more importantly, the experiences of direct sellers related to direct sales are very rarely heard. Therefore, the purpose of this survey-research is to find out the opinion and feedback of direct sellers about their experience in direct sales, to look at their social and demographic characteristics. All this will help both Seldia and the Lithuanian Direct Selling Association to better represent member companies and their sellers.

All direct sellers cooperating with member companies of the Lithuanian Direct Selling Association are invited to participate in this very important international survey. Invitations with a link to the online survey will be distributed by companies through their communication channels. If you did not receive such a link, contact your company or the Lithuanian Direct Selling Association (info@ltpa.lt). All responses from respondents will be confidential and anonymous and only aggregated data will be used in the research report.

Such a survey-study is being conducted for the second time in Lithuania. You can familiarize yourself with the Lithuanian results of the 2018 analogous study here.
